We cannot speak for others, but at RC, we are broken down into 2 major classes: Front End & Back End.
These two facets of our business coexist and support each other in all ways, shapes and forms; one simply cannot exist without the other!
Meet Front End:
By definition, all that you see when opening a web browser is the front end.
Front end developers use styling preceptors, JavaScript libraries and frameworks to fasten the pieces of design elements together in order to create moving, living content with functionality and practicality. With a keen eye for the important elements that make a website aesthetically amazing.
Front End developers, hand in hand with designers cleverly develop items such as menus, i frames and clean coded animations. All perfectly scalable on different devices and placed precisely where they are intended to be.
Observing what the commands are and seeing how they create functionality – when custom coded is like magic happening right before your eyes. That’s how we feel anyway.
Any design idea can be a great one but someone needs to take these ideas or design concepts and engineer them to life, considering the functionality of each and every button.
Meet Back End:
Here is where all of the elements not directly accessed by the user is created and maintained, items such as databases, servers, and applications.
Everything a user sees on a browser has much details going on behind it to make it function as desired. Back End guys are all about what happens on the server side where your website lives; security, maintenance and importantly, if you have a dynamic or interactive site.
Using vastly different web frameworks from the front end guys, the desired outcome is full engine control. Backend is responsible for communication between the database and the browser, ensuring all parts function to precision, obtaining and sending info back and forth all – in record time, with security being an absolute focal point Like in the case of a contact form for example.
Standard behavior is to gather all of the data entered into the form and sends it to another program to be processed.
What you should be striving for when it comes to the design and strategy of your website is innovative thinking and daring designs that challenge the status quo to reach far beyond the edges of your webpage.
